Nude lip lovers, continue reading… At Christmas time we embrace the bold lip colours and put away our nude shades until the festive season is over. Unless you’re like me, and can’t bold it every day of the week, even if it is December. One of my best friends Kayleigh bought me the Morphe Holiday Collection – Paint The Town Nude as part of my Christmas gift. ‘Holiday’ and ‘Nude’ in the same sentence, I knew this was my answer.
Morphe - Paint The Town Nude Holiday Collection
The Morphe Holiday Collection features three 12ml nude lip paints, Sweets, LuLu and Dainty. Morphe recommend applying one coat, then allowing the lip paint to dry before adding an extra coat for a bolder look. These semi-matte lip paints claim to be powerfully pigmented and mega moisturising.
This lip paint is the lightest colour of all three, so for you girls who like a light nude, this one is perfect. With lighter tones of pink, this shade is beautiful, perfect for daywear or evening wear, depending on the look you are going for.
LuLu is a medium shade, with tones of orange and brown. This lip paint would definitely take you all the way to Spring, and would suit most skin tones.
This shade is the darkest of them all, and my favourite. With medium tones of pink and brown, this lip paint is so versatile, I haven’t stopped using it.
For a girl who suffers with dry lips 365 days a year, I have always been skeptical on matte lip paints in fear it would make them look worse. These lip paints are by far the best I’ve ever used. They are long lasting, I still don’t feel need to re-apply after several drinks, and they also don’t smudge onto your teeth (bonus!).
You can purchase from Morphe for only £12! See link to purchase below.
